mr. Omprakash Singhal Son of Late Devi Sharanji Singhal came from an Agrawal family from Aligarh District in UP. He came to south india in 1976. After running many firms in south india finally settled in Bangalore and established “Dev Sagar” in 2007 in food street of V.V Puram. This Business is being joined by his son Mr. Jitendra Singhal who is passionate about serving flavors of north Indian food in southern region of India. Dev Sagar - One of the famous eatery in VV Puram. It's a small outlet. You've to stand outside and enjoy the food which they serve hot. I've picked some of their signature items like Cheese Butter Dabeli, Double malai Rabdi, Jamun halwa. The food was yummy, and the menu entices you to try a few more dishes from the list. I was planning to visit a few more shops, so I controlled myself from ordering other yummy things from the list.

It is indeed an exotic fusion offered at Dev Sagar on VV Puram which itself is a foodie's paradise. Dev Sagar is a known name for its street food recipes. This Rasgulla Chaat had Rasgullas as the base and a complete chaat preparation with curd, green & red chutney, boondi, beetrot & carrot julienne, anaar seeds and chaat masala. The chaat is refreshing, punchy & flavorful.
After years I visited the Food Street, around 4ish in the evening and the street was full of eateries on either side. Since it was quite early in the evening, the place was empty. Apparently, it's buzzing at night. I stumbled upon Dev Sagar, as I spotted a mountain of Dabelis here. I couldn't resist so I opted for a takeaway of Dabelis and Samosas. Although they do have a lot of variety on their menu.
